ToyboyFlirt.co.uk seeks to put younger men in contact with older ladies for dating and no-strings fun. It's quite a wild site, so take care if you're easily offended. You'll find plenty of decent features but no online chat, which is something of an omission. Probably its biggest downfall is the relative scarcity of complete profiles, which may indicate that many are inactive or fake.
The first thing to say about ToyboyFlirt.co.uk is that it looks well designed and is simple to navigate and user friendly. It takes just a minute or two to register; once you've completed the basics you're free to wander about the site and complete the rest of your profile at your leisure. Remember that the more complete your profile and the more photos uploaded, the more interest you'll receive, so don't leave it too long if you decide that you like it here. At the time of this review there were 441,000 members registered and 648 online, which isn't much of an online buzz. Whilst all members are located in the UK, which offers more hope of hooking up than on a global dating site, quite a few profiles featured younger women and older men, which surely contradicts the ethos of the site.
The profiles themselves are nicely set out and ostensibly offer plenty of basic information about a given member. The problem is that there are so many incomplete profiles that browsing becomes a real chore. Likewise, the majority of profiles lack photos, which suggests lots of fakes, or at the very least, members who aren't particularly invested. It seems that your chances of finding a date are somewhat low, though you'll sometimes find more complete profiles with multiple (usually sexually explicit) photos. Photo quality is generally good and you can click on an image to enlarge it. It's also possible to upload a video profile. We didn't come across any when casually browsing the site, but you can search for them using one of the quick search tabs (see below).
You can get in touch with members in a number of ways, however, there are no online chat features. Email is the default communication tool. To express your interest and initiate contact with another member you can send a 'wink' and hope that you get one back, thereby establishing some connection. It's also possible to send an 'icebreaker' message; by selecting age range and location, then typing a message, you can reach hundreds of members near you and let them know exactly what you're looking for. You might also create a list of favorite profiles, read diary entries (or write your own), or use the Encounters feature; view photos and decide whether you'd like to meet and wait to see if the feeling's mutual.
Search options are a little limited (see above). The custom search allows you specify very basic criteria, but does have useful filters to help you screen out inactive or fake profiles. A variety of one-click searches list members near you, recommended members (members selected for you as potentially compatible based upon the profiles you visit; the more you use the site, the more accurate your recommendations will be) and latest members and photo and video content.
There's plenty of guidance on the site, including a FAQs page. It's good to know that there's UK telephone support (9.00am-10.30pm 7 days) for speedy resolution of any further issues or problems you might have.
It's a shame that ToyboyFlirt.co.uk doesn't take the trouble to prune its membership base as the vetting procedure it purports to undertake clearly doesn't work, leaving you trudging through screen after screen of incomplete profiles, especially as it has some useful and fun features. Probably not a site to linger on and spend your hard-earned money.
