CougarFling.com offers an online dating site that's full of features to help younger guys hook up with Cougars for no-strings fun and games. It looks pretty good too and is easy to navigate and use. One weakness is that it lacks members, at least female members. In addition, the payment options are a little limited too, with less long-term discount subscription rates. 

CougarFling.com is a professional looking online dating site catering to Cougars and their younger fans. It's free to join and takes a few minutes to register and create a basic profile. You're then free to take a look around. Standard members can also view member profiles, send 'flirts' (an automated message sent to break the ice with another member) and modify your profile. However, you'll have to put up with adverts on the page. In addition to sending flirts, you can get in touch with others by sending email, adding a profile to your favorites list (members are notified when this is done) or send a request to add somebody to your 'Little Black Book'. If your request is accepted, you can access their private (hot) photos and request to chat using the Instant Messenger (IM) feature. In addition to chatting using the IM feature, you'll find chat rooms allowing you to plug in your web cam rather than simply text chatting.

CougarFling.com has a global reach but most members come from the US. Whilst it's designed for older females looking for younger males, there are plenty of members who fall outside these boundaries. This may be a little frustrating for those of you looking for a true niche Cougar site. At the time of this review there were only a few hundred members online, mostly males. Our investigations also lead us to suggest that the membership base isn't all that big. Whilst you'll find members online and using the chat rooms, it's fair to say that it isn't the busiest site around. Profiles are detailed and feature multiple photo uploads. A few even have video profiles.

The search features enable you to speed up your browsing by using a simple search tool (Quick Search) or the Advanced Search if you would like to be more specific. There are also one-click tab searches listing new members and online members at the click of a mouse button. Searches can be saved. The Rapid Match feature is also helpful to quickly find members. It's easy to use; you look at member photos and decide whether you'd like to meet them, by clicking yes, no or maybe. Those members you would or may like to meet are then informed and asked if they'd like to meet you.

Whilst it's possible to go so far with a free standard membership, to get the most out of the site you'll need to upgrade. Generally, the longer you sign up for, the greater the discount you receive. However, CougarFling.com only allows you to sign up for a maximum of three months, but you still get a fair discount compared to the normal monthly rate (see above). If you're thinking about upgrading, the 3-day trial is a good option as it allows you to try out the site with minimal financial commitment. Premium members get full access to all features, including unlimited emails and flirts, IM and chat room access, member forums, stealth mode (allowing you to browse the site but remaining hidden from other members) and all profile photos (except private photos). The site help features are generally informative and reliable. There's a FAQs page and email and online chat support should you need a question answered or issue resolved.

CougarFling.com is well-stocked with features, looks good and is simple to use, but where are the members? Furthermore, it doesn't really feel like a Cougar dating site as there are lots of younger females and older males. However, why not try the inexpensive 3-day trial and see what you think?
