BeCougar.com features a massive membership base with over 1 million profiles and is full of features to help put you in touch with hot Cougars and younger guys. It has more or less everything that you need to get you going in the world of Cougar/Cub dating, including chat rooms, detailed profiles, useful search tools and more. However, it doesn't quite make it to the top of our list as, despite being such a massive site, it lacks the buzz of our top two. In addition, it's not quite as good looking or user friendly as DateACougar.com and OlderWomenDating.com. 

As you check out BeCougar.com you'll notice that it has more of a niche feel than some of the other sites in this category, with stacks of older women and younger men. That said, it's slightly more expansive, catering for those looking for singles, men and women in relationships and couples. So, if you're looking to meet a hot Cougar wife to really spice up your life, then look no further than BeCougar.com. Profiles are detailed and there's lots of information crammed into each page. This includes where they live, what they're looking for, physical attributes, personality, dating preferences, kinky stuff and more. You can also view good quality photos (often multiple photos) and even video profiles for some members. It's also easy to upload your own. You can rate profiles using emoticons and stars and if you're really lucky (and turn on the charm a little), a member may unlock their secret photos for you.

One criticism we would have of the site is that the profiles are a little cluttered, as is the site generally, primarily because of all the information shoehorned onto each page. This makes for a slightly less user-friendly feel and it can take a little longer to pinpoint features due to the layout of the site. When we reviewed the site there were over a million people registered, though some profiles were fake or inactive due to the free signup. It's tricky to tell exactly how many members are online in total, as only those in your location are returned. However, there were over 200 members within 20 miles when we browsed. 

It's difficult to understand how, given the size of the site, the online buzz (i.e. chat room usage) was so tame. The video and text chat rooms were a little quieter than we expected, which may be something to do with logging in rather late in the evening. Nonetheless, we were still a little surprised to see the chat rooms so tame. You can also get in touch with members by email, 'wink' (an automated message sent at the click of a button to initiate contact with someone who catches your eye), 'flirtcast' (sending a message to everybody near your location simultaneously), and 'icebreakers' (short automated messages inviting other members to contact you). 

The 'Naughty Mode' switch allows you to toggle adult content on and off, though if you're easily offended this may not be the site for you. It's free to join and you just need a valid email address to sign up. That said, free standard membership is pretty restrictive and you're unable to do much except create your profile, perform limited searches, send 'winks' and 5 icebreakers per day. You can't even view member profiles unless you upgrade, which seems a little mean to us. Still, there are a few upgrade options to tempt you if you like it here, and it's well worth at least sampling the 3-day trial for a minimal financial commitment. If you're looking to stay, consider the long-term 6 month membership, which works out at a little over $10.00 per month. Not bad for a site like this. If you're especially active on the site you may even be nominated as a 'Star' and get your profile featured for free.

Search tools are varied and useful, whether you're using the advanced search to find somebody specific, the Zip search, to find members near you, or the one-click tabbed searches if you're in more of a hurry or want to check out who's online. There's also a useful FAQs page, email and telephone support should you have any problems or questions.

BeCougar.com is a fantastic site and narrowly misses being the pick of the crop, with hordes of members, a plethora of features and discounted membership subscriptions. More of an online buzz and perhaps a little decluttering and redesign of the site layout would no doubt secure the number one Cougar Dating Site spot.
